I absolutely
looooveee smoothies. If you gave me a smoothie every day, every meal for the rest of my life, I'd be completely content (: Soo.. when I heard about the Smoothie Diet, I was like "I
haveee to do that!" Now, I am not really dieting because I want to
lose weight, I'm (somewhat) happy with the body I have right now. I am doing it mostly to nOT
gain weight. If that makes any sense? haha
It's really simple actually & if you really like smoothies, it is a diet you will be able to keep
without dreading it. The easier the diet, the easier it is to stay on it. I don't know about you, but my mornings are a little
hectic, running around trying to get myself ready for school & getting the baby ready for gramma's house or hubby if he'll be watching him. Most mornings I
don't have time to get breakfast because I am in such a hurry. We allll know, breakfast is the
most important meal of the day (:
Well.. with the Smoothie Diet, you have a smoothie for
breakfast. You start off your day with a meal filled with vitamins, nutrients, fiber & protein, which curves your hunger. Add some granola to your smoothie & it's breakfast in a cup! Your tummy is full til lunch time, reducing the urge to grab a quick snack (usually an unhealthy one!) For
lunch, you have another smoothie. For
dinner (here's the fun part) you get to eat
whateverrrr you'd like since you shaved off a whole bunch of calories you would have consumed during breakfast & lunch, plus your mid-afternoon snacks. Just don't go too crazy (:
If you use frozen fruits, you do not need to add ice. I substitute honey for sugar, but it is to
your liking. You can really make your own smoothie by combining any liquid, yogurt & fruit. All you need is a blender (: Have fun! Experiment! Enjoy!
